HCP Study Events is a non-profit making organisation, bringing good quality, evidence based study to healthcare professionals (HCP). This is an important part of continuing professional development (CPD) and can be supported by study grants, travel grants and life skills development.

Chris Sidgwick has worked in the NHS for over 40 years in Nursing and Midwifery and her last post was Joint Head of Midwifery for a Trust in the West Midlands.
Since 2003, Chris has been a Midwifery Advisor, commissioned by five NHS Trusts throughout the UK to undertake Midwifery / Maternity Service Reviews and assist them to improve their services to women and their babies. Chris has also provided professional advice to a children’s charity and a multinational organisation.
